DESCRIPTION

Join The Ringsmiths jewellers for this 2 hour workshop where you’ll be taught how to hand forge your very own heavyweight sterling silver torque bangle. This classic design makes it a perfect gift for somebody or a treat for yourself.

You will be guided through the process of making a bangle using the traditional goldsmithing techniques of annealing, forging, hammering and filing. Over the course of the workshop you will then put your newfound skills and some serious elbow grease into making your own silver hammered torque bangle.
With a maximum of six people in any one session, you can rest assured that there’ll be plenty of opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the jewellers.

Suitable for complete beginners with no previous jewellery making experience.

Participants must be 18 or over.

    Complimentary glass of Prosecco or non-alcoholic alternative and sweets

  • We offer some optional extras to further personalise your bangle such as engraving, gold plating and hallmarking.

    These can be requested and paid for at the end of the class.

    Gold plating from £150

    Engraving starts from £45 for 1-3 letters

    Hallmarking ranges from £30-£75

    Please note each of these services have a lead time of 3-4 working weeks after the workshop.
