Ever wondered what it would be like to work in solid gold? Well now is your chance!
Our newest workshop gives you the opportunity to create a timeless 9ct yellow gold ring, whether you’re marking a special occasion or investing in a future heirloom.

In this 2.5 hour workshop you will be expertly guided by our jeweller through the process of working in solid gold wire. Using traditional goldsmithing techniques including annealing, forming, soldering, and filing to create your ring. 

Over the course of the class you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your newfound skills, and receive one-to-one help from the jeweller.  Your solid gold ring can be polished to a high shine or given a brushed or hammered texture finish, for a more understated look (as pictured).

After the workshop your finished ring will be sent for hallmarking to the London Assay Office. (Please note this service takes up to 3 weeks and you will need to leave your ring with us). 

If you wish to leave with your ring you can always drop it back to us at a later date for it to be hallmarked.

Suitable for complete beginners with no previous jewellery making experience.

Participants must be 18 or over.

    You will leave with your finished gold ring on the day, unless left for hallmarking.

  • For a more personalised touch we also offer hand engraving and a selection of precious gemstones as optional extras. These can be chosen and paid for on the day of the workshop.

    • Hand engraving starts from £45 for 1-3 letters.

    Please note these extras have a 3 week lead time (per service) after your workshop and you will need to leave your ring with us, which can then be collected or posted out.
