STERLING SILVER CHARM NECKLACE

£80 PER PERSON

DESCRIPTION

Join The Ringsmiths jewellers for a fun and hands on jewellery making workshop, where you can create a sterling silver charm necklace featuring a sea themed pendant.

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to attach and hang your selected charm from an 18 inch chain of your choice and ultimately create a finished sterling silver polished necklace. The jewellers will guide you through the whole process, teaching you traditional goldsmithing techniques such as de-spruing, soldering, filing and finishing as well as learning about the ‘lost wax’ casting process.

You will have the opportunity to choose a silver pendant from seven different designs. These range from a selection of intricately cast tiny shells, a crab claw and sharks tooth. Each original piece having been collected by Milena and Ros over the years and now transformed into solid silver for you to create your own beautiful necklace.

In your session there will be plenty of opportunity for one-to-one interaction with the jewellers.

Suitable for complete beginners with no previous jewellery making experience.

Participants must be 18 or over.

  • We also offer a range of optional extras for your necklace within the class which include:

    - Longer chains up to 30 inches
