Learn the art of wax carving with The Ringsmiths at home signet kit and make your very own sterling silver ring bespoke to you.
Our kit provides you with all the tools you need! A wide wax pre-sized to fit, a second wax to practice in, access to online tutorials with step by step guidance, a protective tin and addressed envelope to return your wax to us. We will then cast and professionally finish your ring masterpiece for you.
Why not further customise your ring by adding gemstones, engraving or gold plating? All of which can be requested via your return order form. A price list and gemstone catalogue is provided as standard with all of our kits. So you really have no excuse!

All of our kits come in beautiful packaging that is sustainable and environmentally friendly! The mailer, box and protective packing can be reused, recycled, are biodegradable and compostable! The pouches your tools come in are made of organic cotton! We encourage you to reuse and recycle.

The kit will come with 2 pre-sized wide waxes in the same size category:
X-Small: C-H | Small: I-M | Medium: N-Q | Large: R-V | X-Large: W-Z
XXL: Z+1 - Z+6 *additional £20 for this size

Based on an average ladies hand -
X-Small: C/D/E/F/G/H (little finger)
Small: I/J/K/L/M (ring finger)
Medium: N/O/P/Q (middle, index, thumb)
Based on an average mens hand -
Small: I/J/K/L/M (little finger)
Large: R/S/T/U/V (middle)
X-Large: W/X/Y/Z (index, thumb)
If you have no idea what your/their finger size is, you can purchase our ring sizer. Alternatively you can measure the inside diameter of a ring you or they already have and we can help guide you based on that. We are happy to exchange any waxes of the wrong size as long as they haven’t been altered.
